I would like to invite you to read a brief description of the journey that has led me to the creation of The Sanctuary of the Heart. The Divine has given me a trilogy to complete. Two have come to pass, and now the door is opening for the third one to come forth. Now it is time to share the story of The Sanctuary with the world. Creating this site is setting the intention putting out the call for its completion to all who may feel it in their heart to participate in this very unique creation.

In August of 2000, I was driving home from work, when my head and heart began to fill with an inspiration to do a 24-Hour prayer vigil and how to do it on-line. At that time I belonged to a large on-line spiritual community with members from around the world. Because of this experience, I better understood how the prayer vigil could be configured.

I was then remembering a profound experience I had when I lived in Santa Fe, New Mexico. I had accepted an invitation from my Yoga teacher, who was a man of the Sikh faith, to participate in a 24-hour reading of "The Guru Granth Sahib.” On special occasions, this holy book is read aloud from its beginning to completion without a break in the flow. It’s read amid their sacred surroundings and in the presence of their Sat Guru's, in their beautiful Sikh Temple.

Quietly and reverently I entered the room, and bowed respectfully in Namaste or Sat Nam to the person currently reading. Then I stepped behind him and as he was reading aloud, he pointed to the words and began to stand so I could easily find the place, sit and began to read.. I continued the flow of scripture from the Guru Granth Sahib, for the next hour. At that point, the next one arrived and that continued, one after another, until the reading of scripture was complete, never having been broken throughout the 24-hour period.

With this experience in mind, I envisioned a way to hold a sacred space using an on-line chat room for a 24-hour prayer vigil. A “guardian” volunteered for each hour to keep the prayers flowing within the this sacred space. A sign-up sheet allowed each one to choose his or her hour in which to serve. I presented the idea to my spiritual community, who welcomed it with great enthusiasm and gave their permission to use their chat room for our vigil. Because many members were from different countries and time zones around the world, guardian positions for all hours were filled in perfect harmony.

It began with all the guardians gathering for what turned out to be a very powerful opening, with prayer and the lighting of the torch, then presenting it to the guardian of the first hour. The chat area was treated as a sacred temple so we each would enter in reverence and silence, so as not to disturb what was taking place. Once the foundation was set up, any number of people could attend any time they wished to join in and participate in the prayer vigil. Some made their presence known with a simple greeting or blessing. The guardian kept track and made sure each person was acknowledged when they asked to offer a prayer. Beyond that, the text messages that appeared before our eyes were the prayers offered by any of those in attendance. Once the next guardian entered the room, the reining guardian would then pass the torch of guardianship on at the end of each hour. Then when the 24 hours were over they all returned for our closing of the circle ceremony.

In September of 2000, the first 24-hours prayer vigil had come to pass. Unbeknown to what anyone else was feeling my personal experience of what came bellowing out of my computer monitor, was the most embracing Omni Presence of Love one could ever imagine. At first it was shocking, surprising, exciting, etc. as my head was trying to make sense of this. There was nothing to make sense of, only to let go and be the full gift of Love expressed in this new frontier. There is no doubt, it gave me a much deeper, more humbling respect and Love for the power of the Divine!

After it was over I was getting calls from so many asking if I felt what they were feeling. Then many of us came together in our sacred chat room and shared our experiences, we all were almost beyond words and deeply moved by the profound and tangible energy we felt emanating through their computer screens. They were each embraced and engulfed with the most incredible Love anyone could ever imagine.

The Love was so substantially real there was nothing that anyone could have been said to diminish what we knew to be true. Yes, it happened on-line, with a computer and I would venture to say that all those throughout cyberspace were touched in some way by this profound Love pulsating throughout the electrode web. Like a golden gossamer blanket, Love embraced the planet and everyone throughout the world with the technology of the Internet.

I followed the inspiration as Spirit led the way. It was as if that first door was a flood gate that burst, allowing a surge of Divine Love to pour out. We held 7 vigils over the next year and a half. Each one was a continued success.

The 1st part of the trilogy took a relativity short amount of time to complete, and I received the 2nd and 3rd part of the Vision within days of the first. I know the second part in the trilogy was triggered and inspired by the book Emissary of Light, written by James Twyman. Everywhere I went the symbol of the 12 pointed star that he wrote about began to undeniably appear as visible symbols and signs. It appeared on T-shirts, book covers and billboards. It was everywhere I turned, and there was no getting away from it. I envisioned a gold 12 pointed star on a floor, with the symbol of one of the major religions at each point. There were people sitting around it, with someone sitting in the middle reading prayers. Thus I realized the prayer vigil was to be held in the physical for 24 hours. In May of 2002, that finally came together in the physical.

The vigil was held on Mount Shasta, in a beautiful octagon building with a 360 degree view of this majestic mountain and the towering pines that filled the surrounding valley. Also visible that night, was a most beautiful total eclipse of a full moon. The setting couldn't have been more perfect. The exact amount of people arrived to cover the 24 hour vigil. We took out turn reading from a book that included prayers from the many world religions. The vigil was so powerful in this group setting, that I was also shown this kind of prayer vigil happening in many places around the world. I look forward to the day I can take the 12- point star, a beautiful gift, my dear friend Nedra, hand crafted and share it where Spirits leads.

In these auspicious times, the third part of this trilogy is coming out of incubation. I see The Sanctuary of the Heart now becoming a reality with many, many, intricate aspects of it exploding in the joy of this creation. .It will be on-line, yet a very lifelike Virtual Sanctuary, where people of all religions and faiths can come together to pray, chant, meditate, whatever calls forth from their hearts.

When one enters the Sanctuary, they will see a symbol on Lotus thus being a door into an area respectful of their own Religion. Once through the door they will enter a Church, Synagogue, Temple, etc, that is dedicated to their beliefs. Because of so many aspects of each religion they will be able to create the Altar with deities of choice, and hear there own chosen Prayers, Music, and Chants. This is very new and uncharted area for many. To offer a place with familiar surroundings may help with the fear of the unknown.

In the specific areas for each religion and Faith, one will not only have the opportunity for personal customization, but there will be a bit of history and information, and links for those interested in learning more. The most important thing is with each room, it will be depicted and held in the highest respect.

The Heart and Soul of the Sanctuary is in the center. Each and every room in the Sanctuary will have door to this center. It will be a room where an unlimited number of people may enter and experience it at the same time.

As one enters the Heart a candle will light. There possibly be walls of candles each lighting acknowledging the presence of others as they are entering, experiencing and extinguished when one leaves . The guests, however, will not know nor have the opportunity to know, each others’ identities.

Once here the true gift of what the Sanctuary of the Heart has the opportunity to be revealed and experienced. Not much more is to be revealed about this area, because much care is being taken as to not set up expectations. I will be an invitation to enter and have the experience of your own truth..

There are so many more aspects to this that are being downloaded into my being. Not only will you have the feeling you are walking in and through all the area's of the Sanctuary, there will be an area where you can go and leave inspirational writings and poems. Another where you can chat and meet others of all Faiths, a chat area for each Faith. A Sacred room to hold prayer vigils, gatherings, or teachings etc. A meditation garden and ponds, with a walkable labyrinth There will be an auditorium or amphitheater with the capability for live broadcasts where scheduled events can be held, anything and everything is possible!

I have been doing research, and I have not found anything quite like this anywhere. I feel it is very close to becoming a reality, and see the pictures of how this might look are so much alive in my thoughts and in my heart. There are many that may hear the call who have the talents that are needed to help bring The Sanctuary of the Heart into the Hearts of all mankind. I encourage them to step forward, if they are so guided.

One day upon his return from Medjugorje, I received a call from my dear friend, Father John Alexes. He proceeded to tell me with great excitement and enthusiasm, that while he was there, he received an e-mail that I had sent out. In it, I shared my ideas about the Sanctuary. Sensing the very auspicious timing, he was able to get the letter printed, and was then given permission to leave it on the altar of the Church of St. James, in the heart of Medjugorje. It is such a joy watching and experiencing the Blessings coming forth and revealing themselves, and I look forward in the joy yet to unfold.

As I observe what is transpiring on the planet, I and many others now see the time is upon us to find the way to honor the Oneness that resides within us all. The Divine is asking us to come together without prejudice, and to bridge the abyss of separation between us with the Love that we truly are.

This door has opened, and a call is out for all who feel the inspiration to help create this Sacred Site. The power of Love is so profound, and being able to invite all people of the world to be in the Oneness of our Heart will be the completion of the three visions bestowed upon me by Divine Will.

It is not for me to know how this is going to come about. I only know it is time to begin. I now release it to the Heart of the Divine and to the Will of Perfection.
